Fabric partitions have been around offices worldwide as space dividers and carriers of cables and wiring of various office equipment for the past 50 years. With the introduction of smartphones and Wifi environments as well as the new work culture celebrated by the Millennials, it’s about time to review the function of partitions and its impact on the design of modern workplaces.

What if partitions are not head-to-toe fabric-covered, blocking all views and isolating users from rest of the office? With the emergence of Wifi and mobile smart devices, what if partitions are no longer carriers of wiring but of live greenery?
