A Tale of Two Seats
The majority of office design focuses on minimizing the cost of space rather than on inspiring people to work better, but a well-designed office should provide solutions to support people working on different tasks: co-working and solo working.
Employees from Generations X, Y and Z are working together and it¡¯s important to be aware that different people work best in different conditions. To ensure the easy switch between the modes of co-working and solo-working, office space and furniture have to be flexible. This way, colleagues can choose to either interact or to work alone as best suits them.
